Who we are

AURIVANTEQ Systems is a business technology and creative group based in Mzuzu, Malawi. Questions about this notice or about personal information we hold can be sent to aurivanteq@gmail.com.

What we collect

Through the contact form on our Systems page we ask for:

• your name
• your email address
• your organisation (optional)
• your message

Through the Start a Project form on our Studios page we ask for:

• your name
• your business or organisation (optional)
• your WhatsApp number
• what you need, chosen from a list
• your budget range (optional)
• a brief description of the project (optional)

Both forms contain a hidden field that helps us filter out automated spam. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp instead, we receive whatever you choose to send us.

We do not ask for national identification numbers, passwords, bank details or other sensitive personal information, and we do not intentionally collect information from children.

Why we collect it

Only to receive and respond to your enquiry. The contact form states this directly: your details are used only to reply to your enquiry. We do not use your information for automated decision-making, profiling or advertising.

How it is processed and stored

This website is hosted on Netlify. Form submissions are processed by Netlify on our behalf and delivered to us so that we can respond. Like most hosts, Netlify keeps basic technical logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and operational purposes, subject to its own privacy policy.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

Who we may share it with

Only with service providers needed to run this website (such as our hosting provider), where a law or lawful request requires it, or where you direct us to share it — for example, if you ask us to involve a colleague in a project conversation.

How long we keep it

For as long as is needed to handle your enquiry and any reasonable follow-up, after which it is deleted or anonymised unless the law requires a longer period or you ask us to remove it earlier.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not include analytics or advertising scripts. See our Cookie Notice for the full picture.

The only browser storage this site uses is session storage: the on-page assistant keeps your conversation in your browser for the current tab, so it survives a refresh. It clears when you close the tab and is not sent anywhere.

Pages load fonts and icons from Google Fonts and cdnjs (Font Awesome). When your browser requests these files, those providers receive basic technical information such as your IP address under their own privacy policies.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and configured with HTTP security headers, and access to received messages is restricted. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical steps to protect what you send us.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law — including Malawi's Data Protection Act, 2024 — you may ask what personal information we hold about you, request corrections or deletion, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the website or the law changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was most recently revised.
